Welcome to Mr. Latterell's 8th grade ILA webpage.  Here you will find all sorts of helpful information including classroom schedules, copies of homework assignments, and their due dates.  I will do my best to keep this site updated, but please remember, things can and do change, so the student agenda is always a great place to look for updates.  If you would like more information, I encourage you to email me using the link found below.

As often as possible, I will create a link to assignments we are doing in class.  If you see an assignment in blue and underlined, it is a link.  If you need a second copy, or would like to complete the assignment on your computer, use the link.

READ 180 is designed to help students improve their reading skills.  On a daily basis students are engaged in activities that are directly tied to reading improvement.  They work on spelling, vocabulary, comprehension, reading, and writing.  Each day students participate in large group activities, and then break out into three small group rotations.  These rotations include computer work, independent reading and small teacher guided lessons.

All READ 180 work is done in school.  There is little or no homework associated with this class.
